Photo Selection & Quality Guidance:
We want your custom slate plaque to look stunning! If you aren't sure which photo will engrave or print best, feel free to email 2–3 photos. We will evaluate the image clarity, contrast, and resolution to ensure the highest quality final piece. You can also email images of your own design and theme ideas for your custom plaque. Please message me for assistance if you need any help at amenia@honorarylux.com.

Production Method:
Each plaque is expertly laser engraved for precision.

Sanding & Surface Cleaning: Each raw slate piece is carefully sanded smooth and thoroughly washed to remove ambient stone dust and debris.

Coating & 48-Hour Cure Time: We apply a specialized coating to prepare the slate surface for laser etching. This coating must cure for a full 48 hours to ensure the surface is perfectly prepped for deep, bright, high-contrast results.

Occasion/Theme:
Designed for sympathy, bereavement, and honoring the memory of a loved one.

Finish:
Natural slate texture with raw, unique edge detailing.

Usage Environment:
While the optional stand is designed for indoor display, the natural slate material is weather-resistant and durable, making this plaque suitable for use as a flat garden or grave marker.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!

Please read before purchasing.

Product Disclaimer:
While we strive to represent our products as accurately as possible, please note that each of our slate plaques is crafted from authentic, natural stone. No two pieces are identical. You may notice unique variations in texture, edge chipping, color depth, and surface patterns. Additionally, raw dimensions may vary by up to ¼ inch (approx. 11.75" × 7.75"). These characteristics are not defects but rather the inherent beauty of the stone, ensuring that your memorial piece is as unique as the memory it honors.

Is it waterproof? Yes! Natural slate is naturally waterproof, and every plaque is finished with a protective sealer to lock out moisture and enhance the stone's deep, dark finish.

Can it go outside? Yes, it is fully weather-resistant for outdoor display. However, to keep it looking pristine for decades, we recommend placing it in a covered area (like a porch, patio, or under an eave) where it isn't subjected to continuous, harsh freezing-and-thawing cycles or standing water, which can eventually weather any natural stone over time.

Order & Refund Policy:
Because every memorial piece is custom-made to order with your personal details, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once production has begun.

To provide the fastest possible service, we begin the design and layout process immediately—sometimes within hours of your order. Please double-check all spelling, dates, and review our size selections, as changes or cancellations cannot be made once work on your custom design has started. Thank you for allowing us to create this special memorial with care and speed.

Custom-Made Exemption:
In compliance with UK and EU consumer protection laws, personalized and custom-manufactured goods are exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period. Once an order is placed and personalized details are submitted, the sale is final.

Damaged or Defective Items:
If your item arrives damaged, flawed, or materially different from what you ordered, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with clear photos of the issue. We will review the case and, if verified, arrange for a replacement or a refund.
